My name is 9. I’ve been mixing my favorite sides of Soul, Funk, and Latin Jazz since 2016, curating a vibrant atmosphere of international flavour from coast to coast.

Starting out in Seattle, I knew I wanted to herald a refreshing sound for high-profile spaces. I fit right in playing for organizations like Netherlands-based CitizenM and the Gates Foundation Discovery Center. A frequent contributor in the art scene as well, providing soundscapes for the Seattle Art Museum, Bellevue Art Museum, and Pioneer Square Galleries like Martyr Sauce.

Beyond the West Coast I’ve worked in Chicago, New Jersey, and New York with the Liv Warfield Band, tearing up the stages of Teatro ZinZanni (formerly Cabaret Zazou), SOPAC, and The Cutting Room.

Now I find myself brought into Atlanta’s fold. Holding down stages for hubs like Buteco and Redlight Café. Playing alongside the esteemed JIVA (headed by Khari Cabral Simmons), and hosting for Atlanta’s renowned global jazz station, 91.9 WCLK.
